Used To Call Her Trouble

USED TO CALL HER TROUBLE

They used to call her trouble. I loved her by her name.
She’d come to me most everynight, to kill the pain.
It’s that blue moon she’s under.
I saw the lightening and I felt the rain.
The distant sound of thunder, it’s in her veins.
And I don’t want this storm to pass.
The only peace I have is when mshe’s with me.
Don’t give me sweet, endless skies of blue.
There’s nothing I wouldn’t do to have her with me.
And say to her softly, ‘I love you’.
Now you don’t seem like trouble.
I want you just the same.
Stay with me girl, I need your love to kill the pain.
She left no long goodbye kisses.
Just snuck out in the dark.
Now all that’s left is a stormy night and brokenheart.
It’s that blue moon she’s under.
I see the lightening and I feel the rain.
The distant sound of thunder, it’s in my veins.
And I don’t want this storm to pass.
The only peace I had was when she was with me.
Don’t give sweet endless skies of blue,
there’s nothing I wouldn’t do to have her with me.
And say to her softly, ‘I love you’.
