"THE OUTSKIRTS OF PROSPER"
"TD Lind is a welcome gust of fresh air. His voice has the yearning languor of Rufus Wainwright, but with the melodramatic sophistication replaced by a raw and earthy warmth. A truly fine album." Nigel Williamson - Uncut Magazine (****)
"As relaxed as JJ Cale, as musical as Mumford & Sons, as warm as Elbow, his yearning, honeyed voice gives weight to his themes of outsider loneliness with a priapic lyrical twist" John Aizlewood - Q Magazine (****)
"When TD Lind does what he does best, he's very good indeed...meditative and skewed, he can grab your soul." Glyn Brown - Mojo Magazine (***)
"His lyrics are as open and honest as his music is adventurous and 'The Outskirts of Prosper' is everything you would have hoped a songwriter with such potential could deliver" Pete Feenstra - Get Ready To Rock Magazine (**** 4/5)

BRIEF BIO....
Born in England and left school to start a band, was seen playing by an American record executive in a country pub in Oxfordshire when I was 18, who was there on holiday, she signed me up to Imago Records. I moved to New York, and then ended up making an album and moving to Louisville Kentucky. Imago Records closed down and so I kept playing gigs, writing more songs touring with my band around the Southern States until the great A&M Records chanced upon me. They signed me and the band up (Edenstreet) and we made a rock n roll record in Los Angeles, toured the US for a year or so - until A&M closed down. So I threw down some new songs and found my way to Sanctuary Records and Rupert Hine. After Sanctuary closed down I decided I'd better do it myself, so my brother and I formed a label and we've put out my last two records: Let's Get Lost and Call Me Sinner. We've released them in the UK, although they're available on iTunes in the US, and we've been pretty blown away by the amazing 5 star reviews, the national radio play and playlistings, the support from iTunes and the reactions to all the festivals and tours I've been able to do. I've also had my music feature in movies and some tv shows, and I've just finished writing the score to a new Tony Shalhoub (Monk) indie movie .."Feed The Fish" - which also features about half the songs off my last album, Call Me Sinner. The movie is now out and doing really well.
I've just finished my latest album The Outskirts of Prosper and signed a deal with the great UK indie label Dramatico Records. We'll be releasing the record in May 2011 - so keep a look out for it - or sign up for a free download and we'll tell you went it's coming!
