Words, music, stories all float on the wind like lost balloons waiting to be found... You have come to the Balloon Tales page - where I collect stories; old, secret, sad, beautiful or tall. I'm looking for the unspoken and otherwise lost tales from your life.
We are all constantly surrounded by people and their wonderful stories - but it is so rare a chance that we hear them. I have spent the last few years travelling from London to Paris, New York to Louisville, Kentucky, meeting people and writing songs about their lives. I then began releasing balloons in various places around America and the British Isles, with a postcard attached asking recipients to send me their stories, this has now developed into the far more practical method of leaving Balloon Tale postcards in ordinary and interesting places, in fact if you've found one, I'd love to know where. I'm hoping that some of you who find this page feel sufficiently intrigued to leave a small detail about your life, something meaningful, enchanting, sad, humorous or romantic, whatever it is, something that may inspire some songs that tell a few of the tales that might otherwise have never been heard...
